Attic Remodel for Guests and Quilting
An unfinished attic turned into a quilting studio, a guest room, a guest bathroom and a sitting area.
This is the project clients describe to us most often: they love where they live, the house no longer fits, and moving would cost them the street, the schools and the neighbors.
A two-storey addition is the largest version of the answer. The design work is in making it disappear, matching roof lines, window proportions, siding and trim so the finished house reads as one building rather than two eras stitched together.
As with every addition we build, the cost estimate was set out in full before anything was opened up, and the same point of contact carried it from the first consultation to the final walk-through.
